Over the last few weeks, representatives from the three NJSIAA-affiliated volleyball officials associations met to develop a joint proposal regarding match fees for the 2027-28 and 2028-29 school years.

Every two years, the NJSIAA Officials Fees Committee meets to discuss and recommend officiating fees for all interscholastic sports in New Jersey. The committee will meet in September. Earlier this year, the NJSIAA solicited input from officials' associations across all sports. This is the first time this has happened.

Many schools and conferences use the fee schedule this committee develops; some elect to pay above the committee's recommendations. The NJSIAA maintains that it is not directly involved in setting fees, and that officials, as independent contractors, retain full control over which contests they choose to work.

Attached is the proposal submitted to the NJSIAA, along with the 2025-26 and 2026-27 fee schedule published by the Officials Fees Committee in 2025.
